Hope Mission sets in motion people for people, souls for souls, all with one goal, that of bringing others closer to God. The highest goal we have is to win people’s hearts for the Kingdom of God, but the people and children of Rubuguri, Uganda live in extreme poverty from day to day, so we want to come to the aid of their physical needs through our various projects…
It all started with Marius Gorcea, a man whose heart was full of fire for the Lord’s works. His desire was to make His Name known. Having a rough start in life due to the death of his father, he settled in Canada but never forgot his native land. Consumed by the desire to spread the word of God and help the Romanian people, the Speranța Mission began. At the age of 33, he tragically died, but he left behind a legacy, the beginning of something greater that would be continued by his younger brother…
